About
Small on purpose. Efficient by design.
Brainiac is a software firm in Las Vegas. We design, build, and operate custom AI and automation for healthcare, financial, legal, and other regulated teams. The work has to be accurate, private, and consistent.
What we stand on
Building systems
We build systems around AI so the results are reliable and can be trusted. Known inputs, tested edge cases, a record of what it did.
Narrow scope
One workflow done completely beats a platform that does six at 70%. The missing 30% is where your team goes back to the spreadsheet, negating any time or cost savings.
We operate it
We run and use what we ship. If something breaks, we handle it end to end. From devops to production support, we're always on call.
The hard parts
Retrieval you can trust, evaluation you can defend, access control that survives a role change, and a record of what the system did. Model choice is rarely the hard part.
You can fire us
Source, infrastructure, and documentation are yours from day one. Lock-in is a business model. We would rather be kept.
How we're set up
The people on the call write the code.
There is no account layer and no junior bench learning your domain at your expense. We turn work down when it's outside what we know, when we're full, or when an off-the-shelf product would serve you better.
We're based in U.S. and work with clients across the country. Most of our clients are remote. For inspection prep, validation cycles, and the first scoping sessions, we travel.
Where we're useful
Regulated work we know.
- Life sciences. Clinical operations, trial data, medical device sponsors, Part 11, inspection readiness.
- Legal. FDA regulatory practice, matter intake, conflicts, document automation, privileged-material handling.
- Healthcare services. Referral and records intake, PHI under BAA, clinical and practice systems.
- Financial services. Exception queues, reconciliations, GLBA, work that cannot sit in a consumer model.
- Insurance. Broker submissions, policy documents, claims intake, producer-of-record.
Even if you're outside these industries and you have a problem that you think AI or automation can solve, we'd love to hear about it.
